Our Story

-Our Dream

Mountain Valley Cockers is a fulfillment of my dream to

re-introduce the Cocker Spaniel as a favorite family pet.

I fell in love with this breed when I found Charlie. From the moment I brought him home, Charlie has been my beautiful, wiggly bundle of happiness. His tail never stops wagging and he always has a doggy smile on his face.

Annie is my Red and White Parti female - a sweet, dainty little girl who loves to snuggle. She never wanders too far away from me when she goes outside. Her favorite spot is on my lap and/or in our bed. With each litter, Annie is a wonderfully attentive Mommy. She takes such good care of all of her babies, feeding them and cleaning their little bottoms.

Our newest Mommy is Molly. She is a spunky Chocolate Tricolor Parti. ANNIE recently had a litter of beautiful puppies 3 boys and 4 girls. She was bred to Oakley, a Sable male from Morristown, TN at the 'Down in the Holler' Kennel woened by Heather Tidwell.

One little boy is Black and White Parti. Two males are Sable Parti, absolutely amazing coats. Two fo the females are Brown and White Partis. They are so much alike they look like twins. Another female is a solid Brown Parti. and the other female is solid Black with Tan points. All of her babies are growing rapidly and learning new skills pretty quickly.

Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being of all our puppies, from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond. All of our dogs have had genetics testing with the Embark labs. The results show that our puppies will NOT inherit the crippling diseases that threaten Cocker Spaniels.

Our puppies are vet checked, tails docked and dew-claws removed. They are vaccinated and dewormed, health checked and certified with AKC. Each puppy is register-able with a limited pet registration. Each puppy goes home with a new puppy package of goodies, a new owner checklist, a vaccination record and a sample of their puppy food. Their package of goodies has a variety of puppy stuff, including toys, food, a teether, and a 'stinky toy' which will remind them of their siblins and will help make their entrance to their new homes an easier transition. I groom each puppy with a 'puppy cut' and a bath right before they join their new families. Each puppy is a special part of our family and hopefully soon will join yours.
